We developed the Foil Lock to close this gap. It is a simple, tool-free system that locks your board and hydrofoil together in seconds — providing security and peace of mind for vanlife and camping trips, as well as beach days or lake sessions.
 
Whether you are wingfoiling, pumpfoiling or surf foiling, the Foil Lock is designed to work with all standard foil boards using the US-Box track system.
 
How it works
Insert into the track. Slide the Foil Lock into your US-Box track.
Cover the mast plate screws. The screws are covered, so the mast base plate cannot be removed.
Lock your setup. Secure your board and foil to a fixed object using our Looplock cable (or any compatible lock).

Compatibility & Specs
Track System: Fits all standard foil tracks (US-Box).
Compatibility: Optimized for mast base plates up to 215 mm in length — covering the vast majority of common foil systems (e.g. F-One, Gong, Sabfoil, Fanatic, Duotone Alu/Hybrid).
Note: Only very few extra-long mast plates may not fit (e.g. Duotone Carbon Mast Slim 2.0 D/LAB).  An XL version is already in development.
Pro Tip: Measure the total length of your mast plate (along the track). If it’s under 215 mm, you’re good to go.
Weight : 120 g (without cable) — compact and travel-ready.
 
Modular System
If you want to secure your board without the foil, you can use the Fin Lock US-Box. Thanks to the modular system, multiple boards can be secured using one Looplock cable.
